Wheaten Activities

Activities and New Homes

Pinehome wheatens can be found across North America doing all sorts of activities.

Soft coated wheaten terriers are real people dogs.  They want to be with their owners and involved in whatever activities their owners enjoy.   Below are photos from owners of Pinehome wheatens enjoying their outdoor activities, including camping, boating, at the cottage, skidooing etc.  Click on a photo to see a larger version.

Wheatens also do well in competive obedience, agility and herding trials.  Dogs should be at least a year old before competing heavily.

Training, for both owner and dog is the key to success in whatever activity is undertaken. Training starts as soon as you take your puppy home.  Puppy socialization classes are great. Check out your local kennel club for a variety of classes. For Sudbury, Ontario check out the Sudbury and District Kennel Club for class schedule, link on the right.

Where are they?

Most Pinehome wheatens live and play in Ontario, Canada but you will also find some living across the country and in the United States.  They are good travellers and really could show up anywhere while on vacation with their owners.

We are very proud of Pinehome wheaten owners for the hard work they have put in to training their dogs and congratulate both dog and owners on their successes.  Check out Spicy link on right for even more activities.
